Ghost Keeper Demo Impressions – A Unique Indie Worth Watching

A Fresh and Unique Experience

After spending some time with the Ghost Keeper demo on Steam, I came away pleasantly surprised.

Right away, what stands out is just how unique the game feels. It doesn’t lean too heavily on familiar formulas, instead carving out its own identity with a distinct style and gameplay loop that feels different from the usual indie offerings.

Stylish Animation That Stands Out

One of the biggest highlights for me was the animation.

There’s a real charm to how everything moves and flows on screen. It gives the game personality and helps it stand apart visually. It’s the kind of detail that immediately grabs your attention and keeps you engaged.

Performance Needs Some Work

That said, the demo wasn’t without issues.

I experienced quite a few FPS drops during my time with it, which did affect the overall smoothness of the experience. It’s worth noting that the full game is still in early access, so there’s definitely room for improvement here.

Hopefully, performance gets ironed out as development continues.

Final Thoughts

Despite some technical hiccups, Ghost Keeper left a strong impression.

It’s unique, visually appealing, and clearly has a lot of potential. This is absolutely one I’ll be keeping an eye on, and I’d definitely be interested in checking out the full release.
