Getting $3 Million Dollars From Rockstar for GTA Is Highway Robbery!

Is the juggernaut title GTA Online, starting to slowly decline in numbers? It would seem that way as Rockstar looks to give players money, and a lot of it!

Rockstar is looking to give players a one-time offer to return to GTA Online of $3 million dollars. If you haven’t been online in the past 60 days, I’m sure there are many of us who haven’t, myself included. Well, this might be your chance to help buy your next business and give you a reason to return to one of the biggest games of all time. That is, until GTA 6 releases later this year, so Take-Two says. Where is that GTA 6 second trailer Rockstar?

$3 Million in game currency sounds great, doesn’t it? However, you knew this was coming. There is a catch, a BIG catch! Rockstar will offer up $1 million dollars for free, so how to claim the other $2 million dollars? Players will need to purchase Shark Cards and subscribe to GTA+. I said there was a catch!

Follow these steps to acquire the $3 million dollars. If you do so, choose, head to Rockstar’s site:

Offer for Qualifying Players

Players who haven’t logged in to GTA Online in the last 60 days can activate an exclusive offer for up to $3,000,000. Click “Claim Now” and sign in to the Rockstar Games account linked to your GTA Online character to activate the offer.

After activating the offer, complete the steps below and, if you qualify, you will receive each of the following bonuses:

Become a GTA+ Member to get GTA$500,000

Log in to GTA Online and get GTA$1,000,000

Purchase a Great White, Whale, or Megalodon Shark Card to get GTA$1,500,000

Anyone else just a little frustrated by this? GTA 5 has easily been one of the most successful games in the industry. But this little offer just feels downright greedy. GTA 5 according to Tweak Town has brought in $8.6 billion dollars since launching back in 2013. GTA 5 has spanned across 3 console generations and is on PC, sorry Switch users! Take-Two has shipped 420 million copies of the game to retailers (shipped, not sold-through). Is this to bring players back before GTA 6 launches? Or just an act of corporate greed? Also, earlier this month, Rockstar launched another content drop at the beginning of the month with Oscar Guzman.

How do you feel about Rockstar giving/not giving away $3 Million dollars to players? Let us know!
