It’s only been 9 months since the release of Star Wars Hunters, the free-to-play PVP arena combat game. Releasing on June 4 on the Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android, it appears Star Wars Hunters hasn’t connected with fans the way Zynga had hopped and announced the games final date to be shut down.
Over on the official Star Wars Hunters website you can see their full statement with all the details needed. Lets give you the quick breakdown.
March 25th, 2025 – Will see Season 5 get extended by three weeks.
April 15th, 2025 – Final content update will be released for free and in-game purchases will be disabled across all platforms. New Support Hunter, Tuya, will join the battle as part of the final update. Tuya will be available and playable for all users immediately at no cost, along with a slate of additional in-game content.
October 1st, 2025 – Online servers will officially shut down, and Star Wars: Hunters will no longer be playable beyond this point.
One thing to take note of, there will be NO refunds given out to those who have made in-game purchases. Spend the currency you have and enjoy the game while you can!
