Capcom debuted a captivating story trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, highlighting the supernatural events driving this dark fantasy action game. The trailer introduces Miyamoto Musashi, a samurai ambushed by demonic Genma in Kyoto. Gifted an Oni Gauntlet, Musashi gains the power to battle these underworld foes but seeks to break free from the artifact’s influence.
New characters include Izumo no Okuni, a renowned Kabuki performer, and Ono no Takamura, a seasoned swordsman wielding his own Oni Gauntlet. The trailer teases intense gameplay, with Musashi facing enemies like the serpentine Togemaru in Kyoto’s streets, blending swordplay and supernatural powers.

Director Kenji Oguro presented Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, diving into the RPG’s story and gameplay. Set in a world divided by the Crystal Encroachment, players, as Rangers, investigate Egg Quartz and protect endangered monsters like Chatacabra and Rey Dau.

Capcom announced the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, uniting all seven mainline titles from the 2006 action RPG series. Releasing in 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, the collection follows Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis in card-based battles.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3 Arrives September 29
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto revealed Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3, launching September 29 with a FINAL FANTASY XIV crossover. Hunters will face the dimension-hopping Omega Planetes, utilizing unique mechanics and roles like Dark Knight and Pictomancer. New gear, gestures, and cosmetic rewards enhance the experience.
The update also introduces Arch-tempered Nu Udra, new quests, and nostalgic DLC. The Festival of Accord: Dreamspell arrives this fall, with Title Update 4 bringing Gogmazios in December.

A Banshee’s Last Cry 30th-anniversary crossover begins October 15, featuring a World Tour episode, Battle Hub decorations, and free items. Zangief’s mecha-inspired Outfit 4 also drops, with a collaboration with Cavalera Conspiracy teased. Street Fighter 6 is available on multiple platforms, currently on sale for $19.99 USD.
