Xbox recently announced that it’ll be returning to Tokyo Game Show on September 25th, 2025, at 3:00 AM PT / 7:00 PM JST. The show is going to feature exciting titles from Xbox creative teams, alongside news from its partners in Japan, across Asia, and around the world! With an ever-growing audience of fans excited to play Japan-inspired and Asian-developed games, Xbox is taking the initiative to highlight some of the talent and showcase the creativity behind some of its upcoming games.

For in-person visitors to Tokyo Game Show 2025, there will be a handful of intriguing opportunities such as the ability to participate in the first public hands-on gameplay of Ninja Gaiden 4 in Asia at the Koei Tecmo booth. I wish I could be there because I’m so eager to try out the next entry in one of the most high-octane hack n’ slash action-adventure series I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. Attendees can also try out the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X at the ASUS ROG booth before their official launch on October 16th.

Utilizing a bespoke urban neon aesthetic, Xbox is looking to draw viewers into a feeling of taking part in a distinctly Tokyo street scene, featuring Xbox and Japanese cultural iconography coupled with a bit of a retro-futuristic vibe that sets a remarkably unique tone for the event. Bethesda will also be co-hosting a merch booth with Infolens Geek Shop at the show, featuring official Fallout, Starfield, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion gear and collectibles, including rare releases that have never before been seen in Japan.
