Over the weekend, Hideo Kojima hosted a panel at SXSW with top-notch guests, Troy Baker, Norman Reedus, Woodkid and Kristen Zitani from Sony, giving fans insight to the making of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Death Stranding launched on PS4 in 2019, and then saw a Director’s Cut and finally made its way over to Xbox consoles in 2024. Fans of Kojima didn’t know what to think of Kojima’s latest game, Death Stranding. It was much different than what everyone was used to. Some fans loved the game while others, well let’s just say they had mixed reactions.
Now its 2025 and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is looking stunning and crazier than ever. Who knows where Sam will be making his deliveries to next when Death Stranding 2 floats upon the beach on June 25, 2025. You can watch a full 10-minute look into Kojima’s DS2 trailer, where he throws a little shade at Konami near the end of the video.
