Recently presented were the featured updates for the newest entry in Capcom’s classic competitive fighting series Street Fighter 6. Sagat, the reigning emperor of Muay Thai is hitting the streets once again, this time joining the already stacked lineup of fighters on August 5th.
Players are going to be headed to Thailand to take in the breathtaking scenery, perhaps recognize some familiar features, and oh yeah… FIGHT! Sagat will be featured as the newest Master in World Tour, giving players the opportunity to visit and learn from him, while also being treated to the Sagat Arrives Fighting Pass on July 4th, which promises to be filled with Sagat-inspired content like EX colors for Ryu and Ken. The showcase only showed a brief teaser for the fan-favorite fighter, but an upcoming gameplay trailer is right around the corner.
Perhaps on an even more exciting note for many fans of the game, Cammy, Chun-Li, Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Luke, and A.K.I. will all be getting steamy, stylish, Summer swimwear, with the rest of the fighting roster’s costumes coming later down the line.
After this was revealed, the competitive Street Fighter 6 Capcom Pro Tour was highlighted, showcasing the upcoming Capcom Cup 12 that will be taking place March 11th-15th next year. This competition of fighters will once again return to the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo, Japan, and for the third year in a row will feature a $1 million-dollar Grand Prize!
