Yeah, you read that right, Microsoft has rolled out a brand-new update for your Xbox console but not the one that we currently know, rather the veteran console in the form of the 360 has gotten an update. Let’s hop in and touch base with what’s new!
If you happen to still have the Xbox 360 powered up and still brightening your screen, then this is the day for you! Microsoft released a fresh patch that has given a new lease of life to the dashboards of older-generation consoles. The most notable update to the dashboard would be the rather big advert for the Xbox Series X/S, which in essence is quite an obvious move here, being that the 360 is an aged console and the next generation is available to us all right now.

With the Xbox 360 hitting the age of 20 later this year, it’s actually cool that Microsoft are still showing love for the older generation console, back in my day of owning one (I think with that sentence alone, my dad would be smiling ear to ear) I absolutely loved the console to pieces. The 360 brings back huge memories for me and to still get life being breathed into the console actually fills me with joy and shows me Xbox cares.
To those people still rocking the old console, rock out! The new update brought a more alive-feeling dashboard and the shape of it looking fresher and better than ever, again really hitting that spot of a nostalgic adult reliving their teen glory days! I remember first getting an Xbox 360 and hopping onto Condemned. Man, I still play that title now even on my newer Xbox. Time never changes the way we play and think about going back to our glory titles, huh?
That is yet another article gracing your screen! Let us know what you think in the comments below and remember to dust your old 360 off and boot it up, even for one last time!
