The title that started the beloved franchise gets a fresh gloss of paint and damn, if we aren’t here for it then who is?! The OG Dying Light has had some loving given to it by Techland and honestly, I’m so here for it, this is the title that has kickstarted a revolutionary franchise and given us what is, one of the best zombie-parkour games we have seen! As well as this Dying Light 2 is getting more quality-of-life updates which improve the game as needed and gives us the opportunity to utilize community mods and finally small details on how to get your hands on the latest title in the franchise, Dying Light: The Beast.
Let us begin by saying, we are so, so back! Dying Light news is always welcome around here and I for one, am super excited to hear more about the games we know and love. So let us tuck on in. Dying Light is receiving a retouch on its 10th anniversary and, if I must say, it looks awesome! The retouch update looks to make Dying Light look more realistic than ever and adds some well-needed texture updates. For example, changes to how the environment looks around you to look more honed and real. Along with this we see a remastered soundtrack by Pawel Blaszczak that engages us within the game and keeps us buzzing with excitement from rooftop to rooftop!
Now moving onto Dying Light 2, hear me and lean in when I say this, but Dying Light 2 is now a lot better than it used to be! There I said it, nail me to the cross, but upon first release the game had a lot of lacking potential, but ever since the release Techland has listened and come to our aid in the game. Now coming to the game, we see more quality-of-life updates which include a better immunity timer. I for win, I think this is a win update as the immunity clock needs some tweaks. Moving away from this, we have focused on the community mods and maps, the involvement of being able to create your own set pieces and mod within Dying Light 2. I think it is a great addition from the devs and truly immerses us within the title!

Lastly, Dying Light: The Beast, the most recent up-and-coming title which if you are a massive Dying Light fan (assuming you are, as your eyes feast this article), we are literally chomping at the bit for this title. The recent update regarding the game shows us the pre-order bonus we get if we want to seize the moment and shows us what we can get in the deluxe edition of the game. The pre-order bonus includes cosmetics and weapons to use within the game, such as In Jade’s Memory, a unique pistol which honors the late Jade Aldemir. The Deluxe pre-order includes which gives us the same but more unique vehicle cosmetics and a Survivalist SMG which looks to beef our inventory up that little bit more than just playing around with a rusty pipe!
And as the Looney Tunes say, that’s all folks! I hope you enjoyed seeing what is in store for us with the summer updates coming right from the Dying Light devs, who have given us some more wonderful content to feast upon! Let us know what you think in the comments down below! As always, good night and good luck.
