Now, as far as Naughty Dog goes, they are a pretty tight ship when it comes to keeping game information close to their chest, so how do they do it? Well, according to an Intergalactic Actor (the new title Naughty Dog are working on), they keep the information regarding the games they create pretty close-knit and only reveal parts of the script to the actors for the games.
Speaking in an interview recently, actor Stephen A. Chang (whom you might remember from The Last of Us Part 2) spoke about how Naughty Dog keep their games pretty tight to their inner circles and how they only reveal what they need to. Stephen A. Chang has said “Started doing some work for the next Naughty Dog game” but the developers are keeping this title “very close to the chest” in regards to intergalactic!
Chang has even gone on to say that a friend of his who is also working on the project had turned and said to him “is this The Last of Us Part 3 we’re working on?”, which adds to how secret Naughty Dog keeps titles. Chang also revealed how when they are given a script to read off for the game that they are “not even chronological”, also adding that they are filmed in “sections”, which deepens just how little Naughty Dog likes to only reveal what they must do when they must. Pretty damn smart if you ask me!
From what Naughty Dog is cooking up, we are to be expecting a thrilling title in Intergalactic: Heritic Prophet as Chang also said that the title is “going to be the next big thing”. For now, we just have to be excited and sit pretty until we get more info regarding the game. However, the main protagonist received backlash as it was made bold that people thought Naughty Dog leaned into being “too woke” with their protagonist. Which ties in to how the devs have been prepping the lead actor for more hate following more reveals for the game, along with the Naughty Dog news that they are working on an unannounced title and have been for 3 years!
