Xbox Game Pass has recently become the official partner for Siege X (Rainbow Six Siege) and Blast R6 esports for the 2025 season. This in turn will mean free… YES, free in-game rewards for those lucky Game Pass Ultimate owners (or should I say poor bank account holders with those price increases!).
A new announcement from Ubisoft says that Siege X players who are a part of Game Pass Ultimate will be benefitting from rewards that come as part of the deal with Xbox for Siege, and this looks to start in June. The in-game benefits will change within the year as there are significant markers within the esport season. The content will be revealed during the 2025 BLAST R6 esports season and players MUST be subscribed to the Game Pass Ultimate sub to gain access to these rewards.
Gamers can be prepared to see Game Pass activations at the first partnership event coming in Rio de Janeiro, which is Reload 2025. There will also be more activations coming in the Major in November and the Six invitational 2026! Ubisoft and Game Pass will also host on-site community activities during some BLAST R6 events in play areas within the play zones!
