It’s finally happening! The next big Helldivers 2 Galactic War is coming! When asked about the upcoming content on Discord, Arrowhead CEO Shams Jorjani responded with this statement to players: “You’ll sh*t your pants.”
This new Galactic War Twist is currently being teased with a live-stream that is focusing on a singular mysterious name “STATION-81”. The newest Warbond being dropped and the Meridian Singularity being stopped seem to have been indicating something massive happening with the war.
Curiosity surrounds these otherwise vague and mysterious teasers, but as we realize from the live-stream, there is a all of a sudden quite a bit of activity around the previously mentioned STATION-81, the satellite that these teases focus on. Apparently, something is trying and failing to connect… what could this mean?
Along with the live-stream, there is an X account for STATION-81, that explains the satellite is located in the orbit of Super Earth and is sharing messages about “immediate tasking” and where players are “ordered to report”.
Even on the official Helldivers 2 Discord, there is a new channel called “s81-satcom” which has the live-stream posted as well as messages along the lines of the X teases, the latest of which reads:

Even a handful of Arrowhead developers and employees have taken to X to change their header images to the same “Offline” image that the STATION-81 page features.
Fans on the Helldivers 2 subreddit are putting their online detective skills to work in an attempt to figure out exactly what all of these connected teases are pointing to. With STATION-81 orbiting Super Earth, it’s only a matter of time before a massive invasion takes place. Make sure your gear is tip-top and your weapons are loaded; Things are about to get messy.
“We won’t stand on ceremony too much… but you’ll hear more from us soon. Until then: stand up straight, polish those boots and keep that uniform in tip-top condition, Helldivers. You’ll be needing them for the fight to come.”
