Xbox Handheld Images Leak Online | ASUS and Xbox Cross-Over

We’ve known for quite some time that Xbox was working on their own handheld in partnership with ASUS in the form of a new ASUS Rog Alley. Thanks to the United States FCC conflict, leaks have merged of the device with the ASUS Rog Alley 2 and an Xbox version of the handheld device.

Now in a recent leak spotted by Videocardz.com we can see what the new ASUS Rog Alley Xbox cross-over will look like. Those with a keen eye have spotted an ‘X’ on a button near the top left of the Black device, leading many to believe this is in fact the Xbox handheld unit. Something to take note of, is that the Black device is a more powerful device than the white handheld, as some of the specs have been leaked as well.

The black handheld device features a Ryzen Z2 Extreme with 8 cores and TDP of 36 watts, and comes with 64GB-LPDDR-8533 memory. While the white handheld uses an AMD Aeirth Plus, a successor to the Steam Deck with 4 Cores and 20 watts TDP.

The form factor of the new device appears to be similar to what fans are used to with their Xbox controllers. Something PlayStation did when creating the PlayStation Portal. Feeling less like a box with some sticks and buttons, and more form-fitting and comfortable for ease of use and playability. There is no current release date for the device, but rumors continue of a release later this year.

Let us know what you think of the Xbox handheld below. Is this something you might pick up at launch?
