UPDATE: Oblivion Leak Reveals ‘Remastered’ NOT Remake

Oh, how the rumor mill continues. Rumors have been swirling around as of late that one of Bethesda’s long-requested titles would be receiving the ‘Remake’ treatment. However, in a new leak, it appears Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion will be getting the ‘Remastered’ feature instead. The leak was first spotted by the Oblivion-hungry fans on Resetera

Now in a new post by the leakers, we can see a comparison between Oblivion of old versus new. Oblivion was supposedly having a stealth drop next week on April 21st, which has turned out to be one of the worse kept secrets with all the rumors floating around. The remake is in collaboration  between Virtuous, Bethesda Dallas and Bethesda Rockville.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion will look to launch next week on Xbox Series X|S, PC and now, the newly added, PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5 was not in any of the previous rumors for the Oblivion remake. This is something that Xbox and Microsoft continue to do with their “Play Anywhere” incentive by bringing all of their titles to the PlayStation console.

Were you missing your horse armor? Not to worry as there appears to be a Deluxe Edition that will give players weapons and the over-dossed meme of horse armor. Let us know how you feel about the return of Oblivion in the comments below.
