The unique 5v5 FPS card system shooter is getting set to launch on consoles after its original release date of March 6 was delayed.
Fragpunk is a tactical 5v5 hero shooter that innovates with a Shard Card System, a system that allows players to stack certain cards that will change the outcome of each fast paced chaos shooting rounds. Fragpunk launched on PC back in March “achieving a peak of over 110,000 concurrent players on Steam.” The reason for the console delay was to optimize the controller gameplay, enhance visuals and the cross-progress system, allowing players to continue the grind wherever they choose to play.
Fragpunk will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on April 29th 2025. NetEase will offer rewards for console players who purchase the Pioneer Bundle on console platforms and will be eligible to claim additional gifts after the console launch.
