Will Red Dead Redemption 2 Get 60 FPS | Maybe, If Roger Clark Has Anything To Say About It

Rockstar may be hard at work on GTA VI, set to launch at some point this year. However, it won’t stop fans from wanting an upgrade to one of Rockstars most beautiful and beloved titles, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Roger Clark, the voice behind our main protagonist of RDR 2, Arthur Morgan, noted on X that he has failed us, stating: “Guys, it has come to my attention that there isn’t a 60fps patch for RDR2 yet. Some of you have been kind enough to remind me to do something about it. I am so sorry for the delay! Am working on it right now. It’ll be ready tomorrow after lunchtime”.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in October 2018 and currently sits among the legends with sales hitting 70 million copies. RDR 2 just rests below PUBG with 75 million copies with Ark: Survival Evolved hitting nrealy 80 million copies. Rockstar stopped supporting Red Dead Redemption 2 to focus on GTA VI. Fans alike have been asking for more content when it comes to Red Dead Online for years. The main campaign never saw any DLC, but the online component is still holding strong for some. A 60 FPS upgrade would be a much-welcomed addition for fans. But, it does seem rather unlikely.

Rockstar may have kept the online servers for Red Dead online alive, but all the planned content; hesit’s, purchasing houses and more, never came to fruition, as GTA Online and GTA VI took top priority. Let us know in the comments if a 60 FPS upgrade would be something you would like, or have you ridden off into the sunset?
