Time to suit up! Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 launches their next update for all you bloodthirsty marines out there. With a new PvE mission, weapon, two cosmetic DLCs, Prestige Ranks, custom PvP lobbies and more. This appears to be a loaded update and a good time to dive back in, if you’ve lowered your chainsword lately.
Take on the mighty Trygon in a new PvE “Exfiltration” mission. The new boss specializes in guerrilla tactics and will burrow below defensive lines to harass its prey. No one is safe! Trygon’s new mission is free to all players. Among the addition of a new boss fight are a plethora of quality of life changes and a new weapon to add to your arsenal.
A new secondary weapon will be added with the Inferno Pistol. You can also expect to push yourself to new heights with the addition of Prestige Ranks and rewards. Weapons have been reworked with their perks to feel more meaningful. The ability to change the color of cloth, tabards and hoods across all classes and the much-requested custom PvP lobbies have been added, letting you match in groups of up to 12 players and will be fully customizable Eternal War games.
New DLC for those with the Season Pass will have access to the first DLC, Space Wolves Chapter Pack. The new pack will add new Champion skins for the Vanguard, three weapon skins and more than 50 unique cosmetics and colors.
