Nearly 25 years ago, Square Enix released Final Fantasy IX and lately fans have been asking about a remake with rumors swirling around. It now appears all but official.
On the official Square Enix X account, we were teased with a message that caught the eye of many fans.
Square Enix, as of recently, have been remaking the Final Fantasy Vll title into three separate games. Final Fantasy Vll Rebirth, the most recent in the series from the trilogy, launched last year in February. Now with a recent post from Square Enix stating “My memories will be part of the sky…” it appears to have fans excited as they look towards yet another remake in the series. Final Fantasy lX seems to be all but confirmed as fans depict the sentence. We should expect to learn more soon or in June with Summer Game Fest just around the corner.
