Today is the final Nintendo Direct before the official reveal of the Super Switch (Nintendo Switch 2) on April 2nd.
The OLD console is eight years old now, surely this will be the last we hear of the system!

The Direct then took a moment to announce a Virtual Game Card system.
Perhaps the most interesting announcement, Virtual Game Cards can be used to move games from one system to another. You can manage all of your digital purchases across linked consoles after a one-time setup.
These Virtual Game Cards can also be shared across members in the Family Group. You can “lend” out your games, one at a time for 14 days. After 14 days the game will revert to the original console and the process will need to be repeated.
This feature will also extend to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Then Nintendo sped up the pace with more games still coming to the Nintendo Switch!

He says that Nintendo Directs have been a success since 2011. To grow this effort, a new app is available called Nintendo Today. The app will have daily information about new games and announcements going forward.
Anyone with a Nintendo account can access this app, but for everyone else, the Nintendo Directs will continue.
