New Halo Rumors | Halo Studio Gearing Up For A Big Announcement

Halo is currently in an awkward state at the moment. Coming off of the missteps of Halo Infinite’s piecemeal launch back in 2021. With the campaign and multiplayer launching out of sync, followed by the addition of the campaigns co-op mode and the Forge mode. It was a brutal launch of sorts when it came to the launch Halo Infinite.

The newly formed Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries) are apparently gearing up for a big announcement for the franchise, according to one source. Over on Rebs Gaming’s channel, who is known for getting scoops when is comes to the Halo franchise, went on to say that according to one source he spoke with, “Halo Studios has a big announcement at the Halo World Championship in late October”.

No, this truly doesn’t mean much, BUT…let the speculation conversations begin! Could the Halo team be ready to reveal what’s for Chief? Or, is the BIG announcement just to let PlayStation fans know that the Chief will be coming to PlayStation 5 later this year? Halo certainly isn’t the legendary series it once was. Chief, who should still be the face of Xbox, is no more than a mere backdrop these days, when compared to the Xbox 360 era.

With Summer Game Fest just next week and Xbox hosting once again the Xbox Showcase followed by the The Outer Worlds 2 Direct, that might be a good time to tease whatever’s coming with this big announcement.

Let us know what you think this announcement could be in the comments below.
