Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Missing From Nintendo Switch 2 Reveal Its Been Claimed

Many of us have a lot of questions when it comes to Nintendo’s Switch 2. We’ve all seen and heard the rumors, but those were only rumors. We want the hard facts! How big is the Switch 2 screen? Is it an OLED screen or an LCD screen? How long is the battery life? And most importantly, what is the Nintendo Switch 2’s launch line-up? It sounds like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, won’t be there at all for the event next week on April 2nd however! Will we see Metroid Prime 4: Beyond at all this year?

That’s right, one title fans have been eagerly awaiting is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and according to leaker extas1s via Insider Gaming, the game will not be at next week’s Switch 2 reveal event. “They are telling me that Metroid Prime 4 won’t have a presence in this Nintendo Direct for the Switch 2,” extas1s said via translation. He then continued that his sources weren’t sure if that means a full delay out of 2025 or when more information will be revealed about the game at a later date.

Nintendo certainly has a game-plan. However, who truly knows what that is? More rumors continue around the game’s launch phases of the Switch 2 with the latest saying, Nintendo will launch their Switch 2 games in 3 phases. The first phase will only see First Party titles at launch. A new Mario game perhaps? Nintendo will then release Third Party titles in phases to follow on the Switch 2.
