Capcom announced some anniversary bonuses from the critically acclaimed Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Recently receiving a Nintendo Switch 2 release, the heavily stylized and wildly fun sword-swinging action title will be treating fans to a batch of free content! The first release titled “Otherworldly Venture,” this content will take players on a journey into a mysterious and unpredictable realm beyond the torii gates. It seems to function as a bit of a roguelike wave mode, with endless enemies to battle, randomized upgrades, and a score counter to track the player’s progress as they dive into the new challenge ahead.
If that’s not enough, next month the game will be celebrating its one-year anniversary with the “Yasichi Waves” Mazo Talisman, which when equipped will remix certain songs from the game’s soundtrack into retro-inspired 8-bit tracks, which from the brief taste shown during the Spotlight, it’s a pretty awesome edition that somehow blends perfectly with the already excellent game.
