Insider Suggests GTA IV Remaster May Drop Later This Year With Other Titles To Follow

Many fans have been asking for one game in the GTA series to have its own remastered version make its way to modern-gen consoles. We might just see Niko Bellic, finally make his return.

Insider, TezFunz2 was asked if they knew of a possible GTA IV Remaster or Port for modern-gen consoles. They suggest that some from Rockstar have stated there will be a GTA IV port that will likely release later this year. Which was probably one of the reasons the LCPP mod was taken down. Once GTA IV has made its way to modern consoles, we will begin to see Max Payne 3 follow suit. Ma Payne 1 and 2 Remakes, followed by a Max Payne 3 port.

We’ve seen GTA titles of the past make their way to modern-gen consoles. However, with less than attractive versions of themselves from yester years. If Grove Street Games once again takes the lead for this GTA IV port, fans have a right to worry that Niko may not look his best. BUT, if Rockstar looks to improve on their last port of the GTA Trilogy, maybe we’ll see Niko live the American Dream once again.

Note, these are currently rumors right now, so take this news with a grain of salt. Nothing has been officially stated by Rockstar. However, with the recent delay of GTA VI, more on that here. It would be nice to see some new form of GTA. Would GTA IV also receive The Lost and the Damned DLC? If so, we should also see The Ballad of Gay Tony as well.

Let us know in the comments below. Do you think we’ll see a GTA IV remaster launch later this year?
