Naughty Dog has seen massive success with The Last Of Us since its release and with ALL the re-releases. However, when Sony and Naughty Dog signed a deal with HBO to create a TV adaptation of the iconic franchise, they took what gamers already knew was an amazing story and showcased Ellie and Joel in a new light for those who weren’t familiar with the video game series and showed them what they were missing. A story of a broken-hearted father who finds a new purpose in life and fights for survival in a post-apocalyptic world of despair.
The Last Of Us HBO Season 1 was a massive hit with the first episode hitting 4.7 million views on its first day. So, naturally, we could expect to see season 2, which will be airing in just a few days. April 13th will see the return of Joel and Ellie with a new cast of characters as we’ll be introduced to Abby, played by Kaitlyn Dever and others. Season 2 will feature 7 episodes and appears to be the first half of The Last Of Us Part ll game.

Season Two hasn’t even been released yet, and it’s been confirmed that we will be getting a third season of The Last Of Us. Studio Head & Head of Creative Naughty Dog took to X to thank fans for their support. “More The Last of Us is officially coming your way. Thanks so much for all your enthusiasm and support! See you on Sunday!”

As we await Sunday to begin our journey into season 2 of The Last of Us, we now know that season 3 will also be in the future at some point. What fans want to know, however, is…will there be The Last Of Us Part lll game? Neil brought fear to fans that our hopes of playing as Ellie one more time might not come to fruition, with Neil stating “Don’t Bet On More Last Of Us” in a statement. Right now, Naughty Dog is hard at work with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which still appears to be a few years away.
