I’m constantly on the hunt for something new, fresh and exciting, moving from one game to the next. And always interested in checking out a new game that I can play with my friends in either a competitive multiplayer or in PvE hangout sessions. Mistfall Hunter could be my next long-awaited game that could sweep me away for hours with my friends.
The extraction shooter genre is primarily dominated by Escape From Tarkov with a few others sprinkled around, like Gray Zone Warfare or Delta Force’s version of an extraction shooter called Tactical Turmoil. This is why I was excited to see Mistfall Hunter, a new take on the extraction genre that isn’t a shooter at all.

Mistfall Hunters will launch their second Beta on April 21st 2025. You can request access to the beta via the Mistfall Hunters Steam page if you are looking for a new type of extraction game to fight, loot and extract your way through with friends or solo. With 5 classes to currently test your skills and their abilities with, there is certainly a style of gameplay that should whet your appetite as you venture out into the Gyldenmist-laden ruins. Mistfall Hunters will release on Steam and Xbox Series X|S
