GTA VI Trailer 2 Just DROPED | To New Beginnings

Who saw this one coming this morning? After fans received the sad news last week of GTA VI being delayed until May 26th of 2026, Rockstar suddenly dropped their second trailer, giving us a small look into the world of Leonida.

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive”, reads the description.

We see Jason, a rather chiseled-looking guy (we’ll see more about that in a second), trying to fix the roof of his rundown shack while what appears to be a boss of sorts rolls up and yells to him to go fix things for his paying tenants. A few things to quickly take note of: Jason appears to be robbing a convenience store, a tradition of the previous titles in the series.  Also, something that was of notice was the First-Person Perspective while driving. While this could be cinematic only, it was a feature that was brought over to GTA V at a later date. This may be a feature in GTA VI from the very beginning of the game this time around. We see Jason driving in first-person, following a truck of what appears to be a couple of hillbilly’s in the back of a pick-up.

Working out on the beach, a feature that looks to return from our days in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. This explains a little bit of why Jason is so jacked. Weight could be a choice of “IF” we choose to work out or not once again. The streets of Leonida won’t be a walk in the park either from our surroundings.

Jason picks up Luica, her prison sentence is over. Things are about to heat up! Luica, covered by her bandanna, is back at it with Jason by her side, looking for their next score in hopes of making a better life for themselves. GTA VI looks stunning with beautiful vistas and a massive world to explore. Leonida is full of life with lots to do and with our next LESTER like character in hand, we have plenty of robbing and heisting in front of us on may 26th next year.
