GTA VI | GTA fans believe they have spotted a GTA V story connection to GTA VI

GTA, GTA, GTA. That’s all we seem to be hearing about and rightly so since Rockstar’s blockbusting GTA VI’s second trailer was released, seeing over 400 million views in the first day alone. However, eagle-eyed fans of the franchise may have spotted a potential GTA V Easter egg in the latest trailer being released by Rockstar!

GTA fans have been pretty eagle-eyed lately, and can I blame them? No, I cannot, because as I am part of them I also find myself looking at the trailer thinking, could that be? Is that? However, there has been a huge potential connection spotted by some fans and, despite there being multiple titles in the franchise, there has been no direct sequel to any of them! In usual fashion for Rockstar, a new game presents new ideas, new locations and new characters to roll with, which is what makes the franchise… the franchise! Now, I’m not saying old faces don’t appear in the new titles as they very much do. I. E Johnny Klebitz from GTA IV literally tasted Trevor’s boots.

With the new trailer for GTA VI being released not that long ago, a whole boatload (pardon the incoming pun) of screenshots have been released to accompany the trailer, while the trailer has been picked a part more than a carcass has by a vulture by now the screenshots are still being nitpicked and zoomed into!

This is where my upcoming pun comes in, as GTA VI may feature the stolen boat of Michael De Santa, which we saw head its way into the sunset on the back of a huge trailer with our dear heartbroken protagonist in a smoking wreck of a car. Fans have spotted what looks to be a very familiar boat in the latest trailer with its blue stripe. The entire boat is not visible and fans have noticed the deck is different from the boat. However, if we are realistic, considering how much time could have passed, the boat could well have indeed been modified in ways. This is assuming that our new protagonist, Jason, and his homeowner, Brian Heder (the man who hassles Jason in the trailer) know the men who stole the boat from Mister De Santa and his son!

This is speculation as of right now. Of course, however, I think it would be pretty cool to see a connection between the two games and a potential cameo of sorts would be epic! So, without further doubt, let us know what you guys think in the comments below! Is this Michael’s real boat? Or is this just a small coincidence we are expanding on?
