Concord Developer Ridding Memory Of Catastrophic Game

I first start this article by saying simply, Ouch. Chelsea Grace – Outsourcing and Co-Dev Lead at Firewalk Games (now shutdown following the disaster known as Concord), looks to have no love for the title branded one of the worst to release as of late, Concord.

With Grace donating her commemorative Launch Plaque to US Thrift Store Goodwill – ShopGoodwill.com, you can now own this small piece of gaming history! Or would you really want to? This is the gaming equivalent of contracting poison damage upon singular touch.

The plaque contains the ill-fated games box art and a Blu-ray-outlined version of the game’s disc, along with the label of Chelsea Grace’s name and a release date for the complete failure of a game that merely lasted two weeks before being completely scrapped by Sony.

If we look back to Concord and see just why this scrap of gaming history is on sale at a thrift store, may I remind you that this title lasted a mere two weeks before being completely pulled from existence because of the god-awful sales it managed. The title only managed to have around 25K units sold, which, upon launch of a brand-new IP and title, is truly dismal. If we look at other games upon release with games that fall similarly to the online shooter ballpark (Overwatch, Marvel Rivals etc.) the games managed huge units sold upon releasing to the public. I think even Marvel Rivals managed to generate more sales and that’s a free download.

Let us know what you think in the comments below! Was Concord a truly disastrous release? Or was Concord a truly disastrous release?
