Yes, you read that entirely right! Xbox Design Lab has fired right back into action and boy oh boy am I excited! Like many other fans, we over here at Everything Nerd are genuinely excited to see that Design Lab is all back up and running as it gives us the option once again to grab a controller that is truly, uniquely inspired!
After what seems like forever, the six-month wait, yes it has been that long, is finally over. The Labs went down in December last year due to a change in payment platform and unfortunately left custom controller fans in the dark for a long time. Now we have found our way back into the light!
With Xbox posting on their socials about the Design Lab returning, you can once again pop over to the webpage and get those creative juices flowing to create the perfect new controller to suit your specific needs. The process is as seamless as ever to design those one-of-a-kind gaming accessories once again.
As we can see on the X (formerly Twitter) video from above, there are more ways than ever to customize your very own device! I’m particularly interested in getting an Elite Controller in my hands with the Fallout Vault boy looking back at me with glowing yellow thumb sticks and maybe even a neon green D-Pad.
