It appears Asus is teasing fans with their Xbox-branded handheld in a post on X.
After many rumors of Xbox partnering up with ASUS for a ROG Ally Xbox-branded handheld device. It seems ASUS has started teasing a reveal could be coming soon. A teaser video on the ASUS ROG X account shows a robot transforming itself with a controller and their current ROG Ally. Though this doesn’t tell us much or lead to anything concrete conclusions. Here’s where things get interesting, its when the teaser shows off the Xbox buttons in the middle of a device in shadow, and the reply by Xbox.
Are we about to get a full reveal of the Xbox-branded handheld device? When would Xbox and ASUS be likely to reveal this device? Tomorrow will be a big day with the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal event. It’s unlikely they will also reveal the Xbox handheld tomorrow, but perhaps next week? Would they try to fight for the spotlight with Nintendo? Though nothing is official yet, Xbox would not have responded if they didn’t have any involvement in the next handheld device from ASUS, right?
