If you missed Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days demo on Steam. You are in luck, you can still check it out, and I highly recommend you do. I jumped in the demo and am now waiting for my next zombie-infested side-scrolling adventure. Think “This War of Mine” meets zombie survival gameplay. The art-style hooked me and learning the gameplay, I knew this was going to be my next zombie survival game while I wait for State of Decay 3. Ya, that’s not coming now until 2026. However, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days will be launching into Early Access on April 9th.

The game takes us back to the 1980’s in the city of Walton, Texas. Of course, things go to hell among the chaos and confusion with the rise of the undead. We will get to choose from a pair of survivors for our journey to avoid the zombie apocalypse, build and fortify shelters, find other survivors and try to escape the undead city of Walton.
