Saber Interactive Unveils New Developer Diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival
Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new developer diary video for the upcoming survival-horror action game Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. The highly anticipated title is set to launch later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
The new video features Doug Bradley, best known for portraying the iconic Cenobite leader Pinhead—and offers fans an inside look at how the development team is bringing the legendary horror franchise into the gaming world for the first time.

Recreating the Essence of the Hellraiser Universe
Adapting the world of Hellraiser into a video game required the team to dive deep into decades of lore spanning films, novels, comics, and more.
While there was a wealth of material to draw from, the developers say their biggest challenge was capturing the unsettling essence that made the original stories so compelling. Their goal was to preserve the series’ dark spirit while introducing fresh surprises for players.
From narrative design and gameplay mechanics to atmospheric effects, the team focused on crafting a disturbing and immersive experience that bridges the human world with the nightmarish dimension of the Labyrinth and the sinister plans of the Cenobites.

A New Story of Survival in Hell
In Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, players enter a terrifying new chapter in the franchise’s universe. The story centers on a desperate journey into the depths of the underworld to rescue a loved one trapped in eternal torment.
Players must confront horrifying enemies, including twisted cultists, monstrous creatures, and the sadistic Cenobites themselves. Along the way, they’ll wield the supernatural abilities of the Genesis Configuration puzzle box while also relying on conventional weapons to survive.
The game promises intense encounters and psychological horror as players face both external threats and their deepest fears.
