You wanted 13″ of VENOM?
Well, Mondo have you sorted! This is my first ever Mondo figure. I have been absolutely blown away by the quality and effort put into this figure!
This Venom figure has been pulled right out of the 90’s Spider-Man animated series. He looks phenomenal! The paint job and cell shading are wonderful. You would expect a big hefty figure and that is exactly what is provided. Magnificent.
The articulation for the figure is mostly fantastic, I did find the shoulders were very stiff. There is that intense fear for every collector about using too much force on a joint. But after playing around with him for awhile it loosened right up.
He is an extremely posable figure and begs to be put into different poses. He comes with an amazing amount of accessories. All manner of different hands and webbing. Also included are 2 interchangeable heads.
My only major issue is with the accessory hands that have VENOM shooting webbing. You can attach even more webbing for some amazing photos. However, it seems to collapse under its own weight after a time. I did not leave it to break, it was removed and neatly put back into the box.
Speaking of the box, oh man… The care put into this is the box alone is wonderful! Lots of love and attention to detail. It looks utterly fantastic and was an experience in itself just opening it. Such fantastic art work.
This figure ain’t cheap, but if you have the spare money this is the PRIME VENOM figure to own.
Overall I have to score this Mondo Venom Figure a 9.5/10.
This has been my first collectible figure review and I cannot wait to review more!
