Now that Moon Studio is nearly done with all of the recent hot fixes for their latest update after The Breach launched on April 30th to rather several game-challenging problems. Thomas Mahler, CEO of Moon Studios, is ready to give fans an insight into what’s coming up next for No Rest for the Wicked. The team will be ready to slow things down and focus on the next big patch, which will see some more polish, structural stuff and things taken directly from fan feedback.
Right now, NRFTW currently has no difficulty setting, you play and deal with the pain of dying or overcoming your foes. Realm Tiers are currently a point of discussion, allowing fans an easier time playing the game, as Mahler makes reference to Elden Ring. “Elden Ring hit a much broader audience than previous Souls games, partly because it was more accessible.” This will certainly allow for a much broader audience reach with ease of access in difficulty with the current challenge level of the game.
Utility Runes aren’t being used properly by players, so, players will have access to the basic “heal aura” rune by default. With the ability to equip up to 4 utility runes thanks to Eleanor and the gesture wheel is moving to Hold Select, with tapping select to pull up the map. Fast travel is getting a much-fan-requested feature. No longer will you only be able to travel between two whispers. Now, you’ll be able to fast travel between all discovered whispers. This is a big deal for players. Being locked to only 2 points of travel was a pain. However, this may change upon full release as not all of the systems are in place for their ALIVE system, which is supposed to be much more D&D like in feeling for gameplay.
We’ll be able to try different builds now thanks to being able to extract Gems with Eleanor. Gems are currently locked and tied to the weapon once it has been installed with Eleanor. This will open up new opportunities for gameplay.

MORE weekly bounties and challenges will be implemented into the game. A much-needed update to the challenges where we find ourselves doing the same thing over and over again. This will give us more to do between content drops.
These are only a few of the new changes coming to the patch. You can get all of Mahler’s notes for Patch 1 here. Let us know in the comments below if you have played No Rest for the Wicked and have you played The Breach yet?
